The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has received yet another prestigious award and recognition for his outstanding performance and commendable strides towards restoring a lasting peace and security in Anambra State as the State’s police helmsman.
This is coming just few days after the Rotary Club International, District 9142, also honoured him with the Platinum Peace Ambassador Award, for his efforts and commitment in promoting peace and security in the State.
The latest award, received this time in a faraway Lagos State, was presented at the 17th Efficiency Award for Excellence, which is a nationwide award that recognizes and honours individuals who have distinguished themselves and made outstanding impacts in their various professions, as well as contributed meaningfully to the betterment and development of their areas of operation and the nation at large.
CP Adeoye, who was represented at the award ceremony by ASP Timothy Ayeni, was honoured as the Iconic Officer of the Year, in recognition of his iconic strides and impacts in Anambra State and the nation at large in his police profession.
“We are determined to continue to recognize those who have committed themselves to the service of Humanity and Nation Building,” the organisers said ahead of the award presentation.
Speaking in an interview with this reporter shortly after receiving the delivery of his award, CP Adeoye simply described it as both a celebration of feats and a call for more feats.
He commended the organizers for finding him worthy of the honour, while also assuring that he will not relent in offering the best of his service to humanity and nation building.
CP Adeoye also hailed Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Ndị Anambra for providing him and his Command with the best of support, which, he said, has contributed immensely to the successes recorded by the Command under his watch.
