Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s leadership modules transcend beyond building Smart Schools to prepare generation-next of Anambra State for the impending AI-driven new world order.
Massively Commendable!
It goes beyond myriads of kilometres of roads built and renovated across the majority of the 179 communities in Anambra State.
It well goes beyond those, too!
It sails through the Agricultural initiatives for food sustenance in Anambra and gazes into the Anambra 1 Youth 2 Skills initiative of this administration, which Obosi community domesticated and christened Obosi 1 Household 2 Skills, and which model has reduced crime rate in Obosi by over 58%.
Yes!
Gov. Soludo’s penchant for the Education of the Anambra child has exposed him to do more to equip the Anambra child to remember that Education is his most basic foundational requirement to becoming great in life.
Mr. Governor’s burning desire to see clean and safe public water restored to homes across Anambra State through the various water schemes and his interventions in the Health of Ndi Anambra through massive investments in building and equipping many General Hospitals, at least one per local government area, are all testaments of his efforts at delivering dividends of democracy to his people.
Time and space fail this writer to talk about the ICT innovations of this government and the repositioning of Anambra youths through sports initiatives and sundry other matters.
Prof. Soludo went beyond all these to ensure that Anambra State is safe and secured through the instrumentality of the Anambra State Homeland Security Law 2025, which has put criminals and the bad eggs in Anambra State on the run. By taking the bull by the horn, the State government has demonstrated its understanding of the most basic responsibility of every responsible government under the social contract theory, which is provision of security of lives and property of the citizenry.
Understanding that synergy is critical in social impact initiatives where diverse stakeholders work together to address complex socio-cultural and traditional challenges in various communities, the National President of Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU, Barr. Titus Akpudo, in close collaboration with the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council ASTRC, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, Eze Iweka III of Obosi recently appointed by His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, are demonstrating uncommon leadership traits by the decision to work together to address the numerous issues of misunderstandings and skirmishes between Ndi Igwe and Ndi PGs in various communities in Anambra State. Stagnation and lack of progress ocassions almost all the communities where Igwe and the PG are fighting for one thing or another. It is observed that misunderstanding of shared roles, overzealousness, and, in some cases, envy or jealousy over the other, cause the communal leadership quarrels between these two clearly different leadership structures in communities in Anambra State.
It is in the light of these and the need to bridge these gap that the Chairman of ASTRC and the National President of ASATU, working directly under the State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Matters, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne, have decided to work together to establish a Committee to handle issues and challenges that emanate from some communities in Anambra State.
It is hoped that this Committee will resolve all lingering issues between Ndi Igwe and Ndi PGs and make for progress and development of their various communities, and reduce drastically the violence that erupt in those communities as a result of the leadership role tussle amongst them.
