One of the notorious günmen terrorizing parts of Anambra State has been reportedly arrested.
The suspect, identified as Ejikeme’s arrested came to the limelight following a video of his interrogation, which is currently trending on social media.
Brief report accompanying the video identified the suspect as one of the günmen terrorizing the Ihiala parts of Anambra State and its environs through various crimïnal activities, including bürying bömbs on tracks and strategic places, for programmed detonations.
Speaking during the interrogation, Ejikeme, who confessed to be a member of a notorious gang operating along the Isekke axis of Ihiala, also highlighted some of the various crimïnal operations he had involved in.
He also enumerated some of the vandalization operations he had taken part in, including mast, transformer, school property vandalizations, among others.
The suspect further mentioned some of the members of his gang, including one who had been kïlled by security operatives and others who are still alive and still operating, among other revelations he made.
Efforts by this reporter, Izunna Okafor, to get the confirmation and reactions of the Anambra State Police Command on the incident proved abortive, as the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, was yet to respond to questions sent by the reporter, as at the time of this publication.
