FIRSTPOWER INVITES CUSTOMERS TO STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT FOR NNEWI DISTRICT

June 10, 2026

The Management of FirstPower Electricity Distribution Company Limited (FirstPower) warmly invites its esteemed customers, community leaders, stakeholders, and members of the public to her 2026 Stakeholders Engagement Meeting, scheduled to hold on Thursday, June 11, 2026, for customers within the Nnewi District and its environs.

The engagement is the fourth in the Company’s series of stakeholders’ meetings for the year, following the successful editions held for customers in the Awka/Abagana District in March, Ogidi, Obosi/Aguleri Districts in April, and Ekwulọbịa District in May. The initiative showcases FirstPower’s commitment to fostering stronger customer relations, promoting transparency, and creating an interactive platform for meaningful discussions on electricity service delivery and sector-related issues.

The details of the engagement are as follows:

Date: Thursday, June 11, 2026

Venue: Classic Munich Hotel, beside Malo Fuel Filling Station, immediately after the Police Area Command, Nnewi, Anambra State

Time: 12:00 p.m. prompt

The meeting will bring together the Management of FirstPower, customers, community leaders, government representatives, business owners, and other critical stakeholders to deliberate on key issues affecting electricity distribution within the district. Discussions will focus on power supply, metering, billing, network expansion and rehabilitation, customer service, revenue protection, and other ongoing initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Participants will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the Company’s Management, ask questions, express their concerns, make valuable contributions, and receive first-hand information, clarifications, solution, and updates on measures being implemented to enhance electricity distribution within available capacity, as well as future projects designed to strengthen the network and support the socio-economic development of the communities served.

FirstPower encourages all customers and stakeholders within the Nnewi District to take advantage of this important engagement, as the Company believes that sustained dialogue, collaboration, and mutual understanding remain indispensable to overcoming the challenges in the power sector and building a more reliable and efficient electricity distribution system.
