In Awka, Redemption Band Welcomes Member’s New Baby, Prays for Overripe Bachelors

It was a joyous display of communal spirit on Sunday, as members of the Redemption Band, Anglican Church of Redemption Parish, Awka, Anambra State, convened at the residence of Mr. Chidera Dency and Mrs. Chisom Okoye to welcome the couple’s newborn baby and also extend their prayers and well-wishes to the young family.

Following their nuptials in April 2023, Mr. Chidera and his wife recently embraced parenthood with the recent arrival of their newborn, the beautiful Chizaram Okoye, whose as Redemption Band’s visit symbolized their commitment to supporting and feting with members beyond the sanctuary.

The Band members, at the event, seized the opportunity to express their collective joy and share in the Okoye Family’s happiness through a dedicated prayer session.

Speaking, the Band President, Chinedu Muojekwu, emphasized the significance of solidarity visit, which, he said, signifies the unity and bond the Band shares as a group; adding that the group always identifies with one another during pivotal life moments.

In their votes of thanks, the Okoye couple, who felt deeply moved by the love and the support received, as well as the love and prayers from the Redemption Band Family, described same as a testament to the strength and oneness of the group members, commending the kind gesture.

Also featured at event was a special prayer and best wishes for the Band Leader, Muojekwu and other overripe bachelors still navigating the path to marital bliss — a light-hearted interlude that contributed to the atmosphere of the shared joy amidst laughter, powder sharing and hearty conviviality.
