Otolo Nnewi in Diaspora Congratulates Tony Muodielo on Election Victory as New Otolo PG, Pledges Support to His Administration

The Otolo Nnewi in Diaspora Association has congratulated Hon. Tony Afam Muodielo on his emergence as the President-General-elect of Otolo Nnewi, describing his victory as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by the people and evidence of his dedication to community service.

In a congratulatory message issued on May 29, 2026, the association praised Muodielo’s commitment, vision, and passion for the advancement of the Otolo community, expressing optimism that his leadership would usher in a new era of progress, innovation, and sustainable development.

According to the group, in the congratulatory message, which was jointly signed by the Chairman of Otolo Nnewi in Diaspora, Comrade Ebuka Okafor (MD Ekweanaedo), and the Secretary, Comrade C.Y. Okeke, the outcome of the election demonstrated the trust and goodwill the PG-elect enjoys among the people. They added that Muodielo’s ability to connect with the community and articulate a compelling vision for its future played a significant role in earning him the mandate.

The Association noted that Otolo Nnewi stands at an important point in its development journey and requires purposeful leadership capable of mobilizing stakeholders, strengthening unity, and driving initiatives that would improve the welfare of the people both at home and in the diaspora.

While celebrating the victory, the association also reminded the President-General-elect of the enormous responsibility that comes with the office, stressing that leadership should be viewed as a sacred trust and an opportunity to make lasting contributions to the growth and development of the community.

The association urged him to remain focused on the ideals that earned him the support of the people and to ensure that his administration is guided by integrity, accountability, inclusiveness, and service to the collective interest of Otolo Nnewi.

They further encouraged him to translate his campaign promises into practical programmes and measurable achievements capable of positively impacting the lives of residents and strengthening the community’s development trajectory.

The association emphasized the need for initiatives that would promote economic growth, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, environmental sustainability, and stronger engagement between Otolo indigenes at home and those living abroad.

While reaffirming its commitment to the progress of the community, the Otolo Nnewi in Diaspora pledged their readiness to collaborate with and support programmes that align with the overall development aspirations of Otolo Nnewi.

The association expressed confidence that with visionary leadership, cooperation among stakeholders, and collective commitment from sons and daughters of the community, Otolo Nnewi would witness greater advancement and consolidation of its achievements in the years ahead.
