BREAKING: Ngige Joins APGA in Alor, Declares Full Support for Soludo’s Govt

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) family in Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, over the week, witnessed another remarkable political homecoming as Chief Kenechukwu Ngige, popularly known as Ukwuoma Kpolu Alor, a former APC House of Assembly aspirant, officially returned to the ruling party.

Chief Ngige, it was gathered, was warmly received into the APGA family by Hon. Ebuka Igwe, popularly known as Ugosinachi Idemili, alongside the APGA Alor Ward 1 and Ward 2 executives as well as other key party stakeholders, who gathered to welcome him back into the party fold.

Speaking during the reception, Hon. Igwe expressed appreciation for Chief Ngige’s decision to rejoin APGA, describing his return as timely and strategic for the party’s continued dominance in Alor and across Idemili South. He urged the returning political heavyweight to remain steadfast and fully committed to the ideals of the party.

Hon. Igwe emphasized that APGA remains a winning and progressive political platform in Anambra State, especially under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo. He encouraged Chief Ngige never to contemplate leaving the party again, assuring him of full support, unity, and cooperation at all levels.

Also lending her voice, the APGA Alor Ward 1 representative, Mrs. Omerebele Nwolisa, warmly welcomed Chief Ngige back into the party, describing his return as a major gain for the APGA family in the community. She noted that his experience, popularity, and political structure would bring tremendous positive impact and further strengthen the party at the ward level.

According to her, Chief Ngige’s re-entry into APGA marks a new chapter of political consolidation and renewed grassroots mobilization in Alor, adding that the party is now better positioned to deliver even stronger electoral victories in future elections.

On his part, the Chairman of APGA Alor Ward 2, Mr. John Ugobude, who also welcomed Chief Ngige with open arms, assured him of continuous cooperation, unity, and teamwork. He stated that the party leadership at the ward level remains committed to working harmoniously with all stakeholders to deepen APGA’s influence and effectiveness across the community.

The Ward Chairman stressed that the return of such a prominent political figure reflects the growing confidence of the people in APGA’s leadership, policies, and developmental drive under Governor Soludo.

Speaking after his formal reception, Chief Ngige expressed gratitude to the APGA leadership and stakeholders in Alor for the warm reception accorded him, describing the moment as deeply fulfilling. He said his return to APGA was a true homecoming driven by conviction, stressing that the party remains the true political family that aligns with the aspirations of the people of Anambra State. Ngige noted that his brief political sojourn elsewhere only further strengthened his belief in APGA as the most people-oriented party in the state.

Chief Ngige further assured the party faithful of his total loyalty and full support for the Soludo-led administration, declaring that he is fully committed to Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s Solution Agenda. He pledged to mobilize his political structure, supporters, and the entire Alor community toward sustaining APGA’s dominance and ensuring the successful delivery of the governor’s vision of a livable, prosperous, and globally competitive Anambra. According to him, the achievements of the Soludo administration across infrastructure, security, human capital development, and economic transformation are clear evidence that Ndi Anambra made the right choice, and also validate his own choice to return to APGA.
