The Southeast Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Hon. Ikenna AzomChine, popularly known as the Obidient General, has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, on his resounding re-election as Governor of Anambra State, describing the victory as a well-deserved endorsement of competence and visionary leadership.
In a press statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Sunday, Hon. AzomChine said Governor Soludo’s triumph in the November 8, 2025, gubernatorial election was not merely a political win but a powerful expression of the people’s trust and faith in his leadership capacity and reform-driven governance.
He commended the electorate of Anambra State for reaffirming their confidence in Soludo’s administration through the ballot, noting that the overwhelming mandate reflects the people’s recognition of the governor’s dedication to infrastructure renewal, youth empowerment, and economic transformation.
“This victory is a testament to Ndi Anambra’s confidence in Soludo’s vision, intellect, and proven ability to lead with excellence,” Hon. AzomChine stated. “It is a renewed mandate to consolidate the solid foundations he has laid, deepen ongoing reforms, and propel Anambra to greater heights.”
Reaffirming the support of the Obidient Movement for Governor Soludo’s developmental agenda, Hon. AzomChine described the re-election as an opportunity for continuity and progress, urging the governor to sustain his people-oriented policies that prioritize equity, inclusivity, and good governance.
“As the Obidient General and Southeast Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, I reaffirm our collective belief in the governor’s capacity to transform Anambra into a model of productivity and shared prosperity. The Obidient family remains steadfast in its partnership with his administration to build a state that symbolizes peace, development, and unity,” he said.
Hon. AzomChine, who has been a strong advocate for responsible leadership, participatory democracy and civic responsibility, expressed optimism that Soludo’s second term would usher in an era of deeper reforms, stronger institutions, and improved welfare for Ndi Anambra.
He prayed for wisdom and divine guidance for the governor as he continues his mission of transforming Anambra into a globally admired subnational economy and a model of effective governance.
