Clare Ezeakacha is an inspiring filmmaker, humanitarian, and social impact strategist whose work seamlessly blends creative storytelling with meaningful community development. As the Founder of Clare Cares Foundation, she has dedicated her time, talent, and resources to improving the lives of vulnerable children, the elderly, and underserved communities through impactful outreach programs, empowerment initiatives, and education-driven interventions.

Since beginning her career in filmmaking in 2016, Clare has distinguished herself as a purposeful storyteller who uses the power of film to address pressing social issues. Her early production Gone Grey premiered in cinemas across Nigeria, marking the start of a creative journey focused on narratives that inspire awareness and change. She later co-directed a feature film and produced an award-winning short film on sexual violence, which was screened for students as an educational tool to raise awareness about the psychological and societal consequences of rape and the importance of justice. Her short film Smoke, showcased at the RTF Festival, also explored the devastating human impact of terrorism, reinforcing her commitment to using film as a platform for advocacy and dialogue.

Beyond the creative industry, Clare’s passion for humanitarian service finds powerful expression through Clare Cares Foundation, an organization focused on sustainable community development and social welfare. Under her leadership, the foundation has successfully implemented several life-changing initiatives, including:
• Feed 1000 Initiative, providing food support to vulnerable populations
• Orphanage Partnership Projects, supporting children in care homes
• Skills Acquisition Programs aimed at empowering individuals with practical livelihoods
• Pad a Girl Initiative, promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and support for young girls
• Medical Outreach Campaigns, delivering healthcare services to underserved communities

Clare approaches philanthropy with a strategic mindset, emphasizing collaboration, volunteer engagement, and sustainable impact. By carefully studying the needs of communities and designing practical solutions, she ensures that every initiative delivers long-term social and economic benefits.

A passionate advocate for youth development and mentorship, Clare works closely with primary and secondary school students to nurture leadership, empathy, and civic responsibility. Through her children’s book project, “Zara’s Big Idea,” she seeks to inspire young minds to become compassionate leaders and proactive agents of change in their communities.

In addition to her humanitarian work, Clare is a respected facilitator, voice artiste, and organizer, frequently training individuals and organizations on effective community engagement, outreach planning, and sustainable social impact strategies.

Through her unique combination of creativity, compassion, and visionary leadership, Clare Ezeakacha continues to demonstrate that storytelling and service can be powerful tools for transforming lives and strengthening communities.

For her remarkable dedication to humanitarian service, youth empowerment, and community transformation, Clare Ezeakacha is proudly nominated as the Community Development Advocate of the Year 2026 at the Eminent Man of the Year Awards & Fashion Show 2026.
