The countdown has begun for the 2026 Annual General Meeting and Summit of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Anambra State Chapter, with organisers unveiling the official jingle for the event and announcing a strategic partnership with leading food brand, Indomie.
The summit, themed “Managing Reputation Capital in the Digital Age: Influence, Integrity and Impact,” is scheduled to hold on Friday, March 13, 2026, by 10.am at the International Convention Centre Awka.

Confirming the NIPR’s preparedness in statements issued to newsmen, the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Nelson Omenugha, disclosed that the unveiling of the summit’s official jingle signals the beginning of the countdown and activities leading to what he described as one of the most significant gatherings of public relations professionals, communication strategists and reputation managers in the region.
According to him, the jingle represents more than just a musical signature for the event, but a symbolic call to reflect on the central message of the summit — that reputation is built deliberately through credibility, consistency and strategic communication.
Dr. Omenugha noted that the summit is expected to convene thought leaders, policy influencers, industry captains and communication experts who will interrogate emerging issues around reputation management, digital influence and the evolving role of strategic communication in the digital age.
He added that the event will serve as a platform for participants to share insights, exchange ideas and strengthen professional networks within the public relations ecosystem.

In a related development, the organisers also announced that Indomie Instant Noodles has secured a strategic partnership with the Anambra NIPR for the summit.
Dr. Omenugha said as part of the collaboration, the brand will provide freshly prepared meals for participants at the event, giving members and guests an opportunity to experience the company’s products while enhancing the overall experience of attendees.
The organisers described the partnership as a valuable addition to the summit’s attractions and expressed appreciation to the brand for its confidence and support.
Meanwhile, preparations for the event have further intensified as organisers commenced the branding and decoration of the International Convention Centre, Awka, venue of the summit.
According to the Local Organising Committee Chairman, banners, visual installations and other decorative elements are being carefully arranged to create an atmosphere that reflects the significance of the engagement and encourages meaningful conversations around reputation capital in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Dr. Omenugha said the organising team has been working tirelessly to ensure a memorable and impactful gathering of communication professionals, industry leaders, partners and stakeholders; while also expressing optimism for more partners and sponsors to key into the initiative.
He further assured that the summit promises to be a landmark engagement that will shape discussions on the future of reputation management and strategic communication in Nigeria and beyond.
